My latest album review, in which I cover the brand new debut collaboration from you+me, entitled “Rose Ave”. This is of course the meshing of Alecia Moore (AKA Pink) with Dallas Green (AKA City & Colour), and it is a goddamn fine one at that.
I have two floor tickets to Ryan Adams at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC for 11/22 that I need to get rid of. Selling them for face value with stupid ticketmaster fees. Comes out to $65 each. Please let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested. Thanks! :)
Hey folks, I know I have some fellow Ryan Adams fans following me here on Tumblr, and it would SO cool if you could help this lovely lady out with buying these if you happen to be in NYC in November. Or even if you aren’t, it would be worth the trip!
Mainly because there are a few things I can promise, and they are as follows.
1. Ryan is one hell of a performer, and from everything I’ve heard of his new band (as well as what I’ve heard about this venue) it promises to be a RIDICULOUSLY good show. Ridiculous.
2. New York City in the fall to see cool music. Need I say more?
3. If you were even thinking about going to this show, instead of the horrible bane of existence that is Ticketmaster you could interact with an actual human who DOESN’T want to crush you in costs for loving music. Plus she’s quite easy on the eyes if I do say so myself.
So send her a direct message if interested, or pass it along to any other Ryan fans out there! Or better yet, go discover his music for yourself and MAYBE this could be the next great musical experience of your existence.
I don’t often make guarantees, but I can guarantee it!

And just so I don’t forget, this is the text post sequel of sorts to the Foo Fighters “Sonic Highways” mention in that aforementioned Youtube vid of mine. Let’s just say I picked up a bit more info on how to buy it, AND I wasn’t pleased with what I found….

Got some more new and fun stuff up on my Youtube page lately, with some previews of singles from The Lone Bellow (with “Then Came The Morning”) as well as Butch Walker (with “Chrissie Hynde”), in addition to a new album review for Weezer and “Everything Will Be Alright In The End” AND my early take on the Foo Fighters and “Sonic Highways”.
Lots to check out and more soon!
